Remote Mode Lights
  1. Verify that the remote is in satellite mode by pushing MODE until light appears under "SAT."
  2. If you own the DISH Network 3000 system, verify nothing is in between the remote control and the receiver. If you own the DISH Network 4000, 5000 or JVC D-VHS system, verify that remote control antenna is on firmly. This is located on the back of your receiver.
  3. Verify that the remote control is addressed to the DISH Network system. This can be done by pressing the MODE button until light appears above "SAT," depressing and holding the "SELECT" button on the remote control while pressing and releasing the "SELECT" button on the receiver.
